Koh Samui is an island in the group of islands in the Gulf of Thailand. Koh Samui in Surat Thani province has an area of 247 square kilometers is the main tourist island in Surat Thani. Located 258 nautical miles south of Bangkok, and approximately 84 kilometers east of the provincial capital, Koh Samui has the widest measure of 21 kilometers, and the longest 25 yards.
